RMB (Chinese Yuan Renminbi - CNY) is approximately equal to 33.2104 SIT (Slovenian Tolar). It was the official currency of Slovenia from 1991 till January 1, 2007, after which Tolar was replaced by Euro at 1 Euro = 239.640 Tolars. The name Tolar comes from the Thaler, a silver coin used throughout Europe for hundreds of years whose name lives on in currencies such as the "Dollar." Slovenia, officially the Republic of Slovenia is a nation state in southern Central Europe. Earlier, the Slovenian Tolar (SIT) was introduced on 8 October 1991 replacing the convertible version of the Yugoslav Dinar at par. 1 SIT (Slovenian Tolar) is sub-divided into100 Stotins. The issue of the currency is controlled by the Central Bank, the Bank of Slovenia.
